Refund policy
1. Scope
This page applies to the various offerings from create.inspire.flow: original artworks, print-on-demand products, local Meet & Paint / Wine & Paint events, and the Creative Art Retreat. Different terms and conditions apply depending on the product or service. Therefore, we distinguish below between physical products, printed products, scheduled events, and retreats.
2. Original Artworks
Original artworks are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. Once the purchase is complete, we carefully package the artwork and ship it to the specified shipping address. Personal pickup or local delivery is possible depending on the distance and by prior arrangement.
Delivery time: 7–14 business days after receipt of payment
For consumers, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal generally applies to original works of art. The withdrawal period begins on the day you or a person designated by you receives the item.
In the event of a cancellation, please return the artwork in similarly secure packaging to ensure it arrives undamaged. You are only liable for any loss in value if it results from handling the artwork in a manner not necessary to assess its condition, characteristics, and functionality.
Please inspect the shipment promptly upon receipt. If there is visible shipping damage, please report it to us via email, including photos of the artwork and the packaging if possible. This helps with the damage assessment but does not limit your statutory rights.
Since these are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, slight variations in color and texture may occur due to screen display, lighting conditions, or material properties.
3. Print-on-Demand Products
Prints, posters, and canvas prints are produced upon order and shipped by our production partner or its local production partners. Depending on the product, the shipment may therefore come directly from the production partner.
When placing your order, you select from the available standard options, such as size, format, or material. As long as the product is not truly personalized according to your individual specifications, we generally treat these products as physical goods subject to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period generally begins on the day you or a person designated by you receives the goods.
Please inspect the product immediately upon receipt. If your print-on-demand product has been delivered damaged, incorrectly printed, or in the wrong version, please contact us by email within 14 days of receipt, if possible. This prompt notification is important so that we can review and process the complaint with our production partner in a timely manner. Our production partner, Gelato, has a 30-day reporting period for quality issues following receipt. By reporting the issue within 14 days, you allow sufficient time for review, follow-up questions, and forwarding the matter to our production partner. If the complaint is valid, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first. As the customer, you are responsible for the direct costs of the return shipment.
Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain unaffected by this request for prompt notification. The 14-day period does not shorten your statutory rights regarding defective goods; rather, it is intended to ensure quick and smooth processing with our production partner.
Important: If you receive damaged or defective products, please always contact us and not the production partner directly. Please send us your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the product and, if possible, the packaging as well. Please do not return damaged or defective print-on-demand products to the production partner on your own. We will review the complaint and coordinate the next steps with the production partner.
4. Local Meet & Paint / Wine & Paint Events
When you purchase a ticket, you are reserving a specific spot for an event on a specific date and at a specific location. Spaces are limited, and materials and preparation are planned accordingly.
You may reschedule to a different date up to 7 days before the booked date, provided there are spots available.
You may designate a substitute up to 24 hours before the event begins. Please notify us of the substitute’s name via email.
No refund will be issued for no-shows or last-minute cancellations after the specified deadline, unless required by law.
If we must cancel an event, you will receive a refund of the amount paid or, upon request, may reschedule to an alternative date.
5. Creative Art Retreat
These terms and conditions apply to the Creative Art Retreat taking place October 18–23, 2026, in Calpe, Alicante, Spain. The retreat is a one-time event with a fixed date and a limited number of spots. Fixed costs associated with organizing the retreat arise well before it begins—particularly for lodging, meals, materials, and organization. This financial reality is the reason for the cancellation policy described in Section 5.4.
5.1 What is included in the retreat?
- Lodging
- Vegetarian meals
- Creative program and workshops
- Yoga, breathwork, and journaling, as scheduled in the program
- A guided retreat experience throughout your stay
- A wine evening
5.2 What is not included?
- Flights
- Transfers
- Travel insurance
- International health insurance
- Trip cancellation insurance
- Personal expenses
- Additional alcoholic beverages beyond what is included in the program
- External activities not explicitly mentioned in the program
5.3 Withdrawal and Cancellation
Because the retreat is a fixed-date event with limited spaces, special conditions apply to cancellations—unlike when purchasing a regular product. As soon as you book, we reserve one of the few available spots for you and begin detailed planning: accommodations, meals, materials, and the program are calculated based on the actual number of participants and, in some cases, have already been paid for. If you cancel at short notice, we are generally unable to fill that spot with someone else, and we are left with a large portion of the costs we had budgeted for you.
For this reason, the retreat does not follow a blanket “cancel anytime for free” policy, but rather a tiered cancellation policy: The earlier you cancel, the more we can refund you—the closer the date gets, the less we can refund, because by that point we have already planned and invested accordingly. You can find the exact tiers in Section 5.4.
5.4 Cancellation Policy
| Date of Cacellation | Retention | Refund |
| Up to 90 days before the start of the retreat |
30 % of the total price | 70 % |
| 89–60 days before the start of the retreat | 50 % of the total price | 50 % |
| 59–30 days before the start of the retreat | 75 % of the total price | 25 % |
| 29 days or less before the start of the retreat or no-show | 100 % of the total price |
No refund |
The date we receive your cancellation via email is decisive for the calculation. Additional costs already incurred or special services booked individually for you may be handled separately in individual cases, to the extent permitted by law.
5.5. Replacement Participant
You may transfer your reserved spot to a suitable replacement participant at any time—this is often the fairest solution if you are unable to attend yourself. The replacement participant assumes your spot under the same terms and conditions as the original booking and must meet the general eligibility requirements.
Here’s how it works: Simply send us the substitute’s name and contact information via email. Please also provide us with their dietary information, any food intolerances, and an emergency contact in a timely manner so we can adjust our planning accordingly.
By when? Please name a substitute as early as possible, but no later than 7 days before the retreat begins. A last-minute substitution is only possible if it is still logistically feasible—we will review each case individually and get back to you as soon as possible.
What happens with the payment? Once the replacement participant is confirmed, the reservation is considered transferred to them; no additional payment of the full price is required.
5.6 No Automatic Rescheduling to Another Date
The Creative Art Retreat is a one-time event held on a fixed date. Rescheduling to a later retreat date is only possible if we actually offer a new date and expressly confirm it in writing. There is no automatic right to reschedule.
5.7 No-Show or Early Withdrawal
If you do not attend the retreat without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued. If you voluntarily withdraw early, you are generally not entitled to a pro-rata refund for unused services—accommodations, meals, and the program have already been arranged for you for the entire duration.
5.8 Cancellation by the Organizer
Should we have to cancel the retreat—for example, due to insufficient participant numbers, illness, organizational reasons, or extraordinary circumstances—we will inform you as soon as possible. In this case, you will receive a full refund of any amounts already paid, or we will offer you an alternative date, if available. We can only cover the costs of flights, transfers, or insurance that have already been booked to the extent required by law.
5.9 Extraordinary Circumstances
In the event of unavoidable, extraordinary circumstances—such as natural disasters, government measures, travel warnings, or uninhabitable accommodations—we will contact you immediately and work with you to find a fair solution. Our goal is to ensure that you are not placed in a worse position than required by law in such situations.
5.10 Travel Insurance
Flights, transfers, and insurance are not included in the retreat price. We strongly recommend that you purchase appropriate travel insurance in a timely manner—in particular, trip cancellation insurance, international health insurance, and, if necessary, trip interruption insurance. It is best to review and purchase these options before or shortly after your registration. You are personally responsible for your travel arrangements and your personal insurance coverage.
6. Statutory Rights Regarding Defects and Complaints
Your statutory rights regarding defects remain unaffected by voluntary goodwill policies, organizational cancellation policies, or internal complaint procedures.
7. Shipping
Shipping costs are displayed during checkout before you complete your order.
Please check your shipping address carefully during checkout. If a shipment must be reshipped due to an incorrect address, additional shipping costs may apply.
In the event of undeliverable shipments or multiple failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to clarify the next steps.
